"As a participant who has completed the program, I can confidently say that I have gained faith, hope & trust from my involvement.
I had tried many methods of dealing with and healing from the trauma that had happened in my past yet the shadow always remained, sitting somewhere in the background, waiting for something to trigger the negativity that surrounded it. It affected my thinking, reactions, and my ability to trust, and it created many walls that prevented anyone from becoming close to me.
I came to the program with an open mind; there must be something somewhere that would help me to be honest with myself, accept myself and have the determination to move forward to a better way of living.
The 12-step scripture-based journey was a way for me to see & experience a step-by-step progression to learn to trust & share in a safe environment.
The biggest challenge for me was reviewing my life from an early age, piece by piece, challenge by challenge, acknowledging my role in situations with ongoing negative implications that continue to bring up overwhelming feelings of disempowerment and create walls.
From sharing the inventory with a trusted person & God, I was able to acknowledge, accept and release myself from that cloud of negativity.
Now, when anything triggers a thought or memory, I am able to pass it over to God. It’s not mine to hold onto now. I gave it all away & have no reason to revisit the past.
The program is about the way we live, the ability to learn to trust, to share and to move forward with our lives to create a positive future with what lies ahead of us."

Letting God have all the parts of me that existed before my coming back to Him. The parts that were before Christ entered my life, that I just expected would always be there and that I would have to carry them as a result of my disobedience and sin. I never thought I would be rid of the burden they caused me, the pain that has tainted areas of my life after Christ in my own person and in my relationships. But this program brings you to address these areas of pain with God, releasing them to Him and allowing Him to heal and bring closure. The result is that my past no longer has a hold on me or a grasp on my relationships, and although challenges still persist in these areas, the past no longer controls them or has any impact on them. What is now in the present remains in the present, without the baggage of emotional pain of the past adding to it.
What stands out to me the most is the freedom from the past I received and the confidence to continue to allow God’s refining process in my life to unlock my full potential in Him.
To allow space for people to just talk and simply listen to them, and to let their life story and life experience be valid. I say this because the program is structured for exactly this; it creates a safe space where each person can share without worry of judgment or rescue behaviours of others.
I would recommend that others give this a go for the growth you will experience in yourself. Who knows what that looks like for the next person, God is a very individual God, but He speaks through this course as you submit to Him and He will bring you exactly what you need to take you to the next level in your Spiritual Walk with Him."
