Pastor Shafiq Yaqoob
Pakistan is a predominantly Muslim nation, where Christian communities often live as a small minority and may face significant social and financial hardship. Pastor Shafiq Yaqoob is a dedicated Christian leader, interpreter, translator, and professional teacher who has also completed an international graduation qualification in Australia.
Guided by his faith in God and a desire to serve others, Pastor Shafiq works among vulnerable brick kiln families in Pakistan. Many of these families live under the burden of debt and financial bondage, with limited opportunities to break free from generational hardship. Pastor Shafiq’s heart is to support these families practically and spiritually, helping them move toward dignity, freedom, and renewed hope.
This ministry has not been without difficulty. Financial limitations continue to affect the work, particularly in assisting families burdened by debt. Pastor Shafiq and those serving alongside him have also faced opposition and persecution because of their Christian ministry. Yet, through these challenges, Christian communities are being encouraged, strengthened in their faith, and reminded of the hope found in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Shafiq is excited to facilitate New Beginnings – Your Journey to Freedom in Pakistan. He believes the program will be deeply relevant to Christian individuals, families, and small groups seeking healing, spiritual growth, encouragement, and freedom through Christ.
Pastor Shafiq is a hardworking, sincere, and enthusiastic man of God, committed to the Word of God and passionate about kingdom ministry. His desire is to serve and strengthen his brothers and sisters in Pakistan, helping them discover hope, healing, and new beginnings through faith in Christ.
